2004 - obtained a master's degree in architecture from the Catholic University of Chile
2010 - obtained a master's degree in architecture from Columbia University in New York, where he received the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Award and the William Ware Prize for outstanding design (WWC)
2005-10 - collaborated with Nicolás del Río at the studio dRN Arquitectos
2011 - founded his own studio Max Núñez Arquitecto in Santiago de Chile
2016-20 - led the master's program in architecture at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where he currently teaches studio design
2017 - his work was awarded the Design Vanguard Award by Architectural Record magazine
2018-19 - was a visiting professor at the IUAV University in Venice
