Author of theoretical studies and implementations of the regeneration of historical cores of cities. The first and long-serving director of the Research Institute of Construction and Architecture (VÚVA). In 1983, he received the Award from the Union of Architects of Czechoslovakia. His projects include: the railway station in Kralovany, the Skalka restaurant in Trenčín, and the reconstruction of the wine bar U labutí in Prague (with Pavel Kupka).
