Paolo Piva was an Italian architect and industrial designer. From 1968 to 1973, he studied architecture under Carlo Scarpa and Carlo Aymonino at the IUAV University in Venice. In 1988, he became a visiting professor at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, where he served as a full professor from 1991 and led the master’s program in industrial design. Paolo Piva lived alternately in Vienna and Milan, where he worked on architectural projects, furniture designs, and industrial design.
