Biography
He studied architecture at the University of Applied Arts (die Angewandte) in Vienna and the University of California. He graduated with honors from the master's studio of Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher. During his studies, he worked at Zaha Hadid's London office, where he participated in several competitions, including the cable car stops in Innsbruck. He also briefly worked at Rem Koolhaas's office in Rotterdam and at Delugan Meissl in Vienna. After obtaining his diploma, he went to work at Zaha Hadid's office in Hamburg, where he worked on the library project at the Vienna Campus WU and the Sky Park in Bratislava. In 2015, he returned to Italy and, together with Silvana Ordinas, founded an independent practice in Milan called Peter Pichler Architecture.
