Peter Swinnen is a Brussels architect who co-founded the architectural firm 51N4E with Lieven De Boeck in 1997 after an internship at Luc Deleu/T.O.P. Office, leading the firm until 2014. From 2010 to 2015, he served as the Flemish State Architect (Baumeister), a public mandate that strengthens architecture as a discipline that shapes policy. Since 2015, he has been involved in CRIT.
