Biography
Roi Salgueiro Barrio is a Spanish architect and urban planner, founder of the RSAU studio and a professor at the MIT Department of Architecture, where he teaches seminars, workshops, and thesis preparation. He obtained a master's degree from the University of Navarra and a GDS from Harvard University in Cambridge. He earned his Ph.D. at ETSAB in Barcelona. From 2006 to 2012, he was the director of the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of La Coruña in Spain. He exhibited at the 4th Lisbon Triennale (2016) and was a curator at the 17th Venice Biennale (2021). He has published in professional journals such as Log, San Rocco, and Cartha. He is the author of the book “The World as an Architectural Project” (2020), co-authored with Hashim Sarkis and Gabriel Kozlowski.
