Biography
Sigurd Larsen is a Danish architect and furniture designer who obtained his bachelor's degree (2002) from the School of Architecture in Aarhus and a master's degree (2008) from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.
He subsequently gained work experience at OMA in New York, MVRDV in Rotterdam, COBE in Copenhagen and Berlin, and Topotek1 in Berlin.
From 2011 to 2016, he served as an assistant professor at the University of the Arts in Berlin, where he taught architectural design alongside Professor Enrique Sobejano.
From 2013 to 2015, he was a partner in the German-Danish studio COBE Berlin.
Since 2016, he has been a professor at the International University in Berlin, where he specializes in architectural design and visual communication.
He has long lived, taught, and worked in Berlin. He is a member of BDA (Association of German Architects).
