Biography
Štefan Ďurkovič was a Slovak architect. He studied architecture at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava under the guidance of Emil Belluš. After his studies, he worked in several design institutes, most notably from 1967 to 1993 at the State Research, Design, and Standardization Institute. He collaborated primarily with Štefan Svetko on competitions as well as on urban and architectural projects, particularly in the area of residential and civic construction.
His own works include, for example, the Cartographic Institute in Krasňany and the administrative building on Laurinská Street.
