Biography
Stefano Boeri is an Italian architect and urban planner who studied at the Polytechnic University of Milan and earned his doctorate at the IUAV University of Venice in 1989. From 2004 to 2007, he was the editor-in-chief of the magazine Domus and from 2007 to 2011 of the magazine Abitare. He has taught in the past at Harvard University, the Berlage Institute, and Columbia University. He is currently a professor of urbanism at the Polytechnic University of Milan. In 1999, he founded his own practice (in partnership with G.Barreca and G.LaVarra), which he renamed Stefano Boeri Architetti (in collaboration with M.Brunello) in 2009. In addition to the main office in Milan, he also operates a branch in Qatar.
