Victor Luntz was an Austrian architect and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In 1847, the family moved to Vienna, where Victor attended high school, then studied at the Technical University (1856-60) and at the Academy of Fine Arts (1860-64) under Prof. Eduard van der Nüll, August Sicard von Sicardsburg, or Friedrich von Schmidt, with whom he was a long-time employee. From 1885, he was a professor at the Technical University and from 1891, he was a professor at the special school of architecture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
