BiographyViera Mecková is the most prominent female figure in Slovak architecture of the 20th century. She worked at Stavoprojekt in Žilina, and since 1990 she has been an independent authorized architect. She primarily designed cultural and social buildings, created interiors, and made jewelry. In the 1960s, she collaborated with Alex Mlynarčík and Ľudovít Kupkovič in the creative group VAL.
