1979-83 - studied architecture at the Technical University of Vienna
1983-89 - studied architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under prof. Timo Penttilä
1991 - was accepted into the "Orde des architectes de France"
1992-94 - partner in the office of prof. Timo Penttilä and Werner Krismer
1994-98 - worked as an assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under prof. Timo Penttilä and prof. Massimiliano Fuksas
1995 - joined the Austrian Chamber of Architects
1995 - founded the architectural office Berger+Parkkinen based in Vienna and Helsinki
2012-13 - taught at the Technical University of Vienna
since 2013 - is the chairman of the Timo Penttilä Association
