Anupama Kundoo

The internationally acclaimed architectural practice of Anupama Kundoo began in 1990. It is characterized by a strong focus on material research and experiments with architecture that has a low environmental impact and is responsive to the socio-economic context. Many of Anupama Kundoo's buildings can be found in India, but she carries out her architectural, research, and educational projects all over the world (Berlin, London, NYC, Brisbane, Barcelona, Madrid). She currently serves as a professor at IE University in Madrid. Her work also extends into the fields of urbanism and spatial planning, with extensive experience particularly in the issues of rapid urbanization, which she writes about intensively.
