The building of management, administration, and design of the minimotorcycle factory is located in an industrial zone on the outskirts of the town of Blansko, directly adjacent to older production facilities. The builder - the owner of the factory constructed from scratch over the past ten years - is simultaneously the technical creator and designer of minimotorcycles that win in their class at the European Championship.
Thus, the building is designed as a solid concrete skeleton, clad in a lightweight glass skin. The simple cuboid of the building reflects the sky and transforms its color and character according to the movement of the sun and the lighting of individual facades. These are made of translucent but opaque colored glass, with a characteristic light-bending grooved texture on the back side. Opaxit, a traditional product of the Czech glass industry with extraordinary properties and a favorable price, ceased production during the construction. Czech luxfer glass blocks are used in the glass-concrete floors of the gallery and in the stair treads.
Light, and therefore glass, in its full range of transparency, reflection, texture, and coloration is a motif of the building, whose excursion into the world of design brings to life the builder, who had an extraordinary understanding of the architect's intentions and who was also the contractor of the project.
Its uniqueness lies in the integration of an underground civil defense shelter from the 1960s, which had to remain operational and above which it was constructed.
