Apartment G

Sleeping beauty. This dark ground-floor apartment in a courtyard on one of Bratislava's most famous street, Grosslingová, was remodeled into an open concept that increased the living area and connected all flat zones. The volume is divided into functional sections by inserted furniture and walls with skylight. The bathroom wall is finished with a skylight along its entire length. It illuminates the bathroom and hallway during the day and at night creates ambient ceiling lighting entire apartment. Large windows create a direct connection with the yard. During the renovation, we expected a classic wooden ceiling, but we discovered a unique concrete ceiling with a wooden cover, which adds uniqueness and authenticity to the apartment.
