CEPT - Centre of Environmental Planing and Technology
Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) Deemed to be a University. Houses some of the foremost institutions of the country like the Faculty (School) of Architecture, Faculty of Planning and Public Policy (School of Planning), Faculty (School) of Interior Design, Faculty (School) of Building Science and Technology.
The Centre of Environmental Planning and Technology is an autonomous educational institution. It is situated on a rectangular site. The layout with its four corner entry allows students to cross the central court. This court is surrounded by the school of architecture to the north, the school of planning to the east and the visual arts centre to the south. The design weaves together indoor and outdoor spaces and shaded and open areas so as to construct the entire site with its buildings and landscape as a large classroom.
