Chalupa in Křižánky

The reconstruction of a neglected cottage in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands took place in exceptional harmony between an enlightened investor, an architect, and an experienced builder.
After the usual struggles with heritage officials, a relatively extensive reconstruction of the timbered cottage and a more or less new construction of the collapsed barn was set in motion.
The task was to create a recreational facility for the owner and the two families of his sons.
Without utilizing the spacious grounds, this task was unsolvable.
The implementation of shutters for the gable windows, which will blend with the wooden grid of the cottage when closed, turned out to be quite a challenge. Hopefully, the heritage officials will be satisfied.
