Dům s růžovým ostrůvkem

Our task was to process the complete interior part, and since the investor invited us at the early stages of construction, it was possible to partially influence the layout solution and design an interior that truly meets the needs of a family with three small children and dogs. Given the children and the cheerful nature of the family, which enjoys gathering with friends, we wanted the space to feel fresh, playful, and colorful. A pleasant refreshment for us was the client, who was not afraid of colors; in fact, it was one of the requirements from the beginning of our design.
Due to the size of the family, it was necessary to incorporate practical equipment such as a large American refrigerator, two dishwashers, two washing machines... but also a space that would be exclusively designated for children – a playroom with a large seating area and a wooden playhouse. Unlike the project where false ceilings were proposed, we decided to reveal the concrete ceiling in the living area. The "highlight" of this room is the large pink concrete island. We chose the pink color both for its playfulness and because it pleasantly contrasted with the industrial character of the ceiling, which we wanted to somewhat suppress. The island includes both storage spaces and kitchen appliances (oven, dishwashers, retractable hood, sink). The house has 4 bathrooms, each designed in a different color scheme. The unifying element is the ordinary 10x10 Rako tiles highlighted with colored grout. And variably colored large-format tiles. The second floor is dedicated to the private part (3 children's rooms, bedroom, bathrooms).
