We started from a nearby café base, but we also wanted to create another distinctive point on the Brno gastronomy map. We pledged not to be influenced by trends and to be very practical and pragmatic in the design. This was reflected in the location of the bar and the trimming of the furnishings to what is truly essential without a single superfluity.
A large window invites you inside with a view of the big bar, seating upstairs, and an unusual uniformity. We achieved this thanks to recycled plastic from Brno's
Plastic Guys, which we internally refer to as "capuccino with a log at the end," from which we made all the furniture, from the bar to the last flower pot, in combination with ash wood, which appears more in the mezzanine. But the Brno connection didn't end there – we designed our own lights with shades made from bent plexiglass. These for Punkt. were created by another Brno café owner and lighting magician Jan Novotný.
One gesture. PeriodThe monochromatic interior conveys a single gesture. Punkt. Period. Can you find it?
