<Hájovna> translates to <Lodge> in English

The ancient lodge hidden in the forests of northern Bohemia called for a sensitive reconstruction that would preserve its original charm while also offering all the comforts of modern living.
In the reconstruction, we aimed to respect the character of the building and make the most of the original materials. The new wooden windows and doors were made according to original patterns to perfectly match the historical appearance of the lodge.
The interior is designed to be open and airy, emphasizing natural materials and a muted color palette. The main living area combines the kitchen, dining room, and living space, dominated by a massive fireplace made of local sandstone. The floors are made of oak planks, and we used stone tiles in the bathrooms. The entire interior is warmed by linen, wool, and other natural textiles. The result is a timeless home that seamlessly blends with its surroundings and provides the owner and their family with a perfect retreat in the heart of nature.
