Funky, industrial, friendly...This headline perfectly describes the office implementation for Red Bull. Since we successfully completed the original office interior for Red Bull over eight years ago, they invited us back for its redesign. Eight years is a long time, and during that period, the style of office work has shifted to a completely new level, hence the redesign. Today, it’s all about sharing, creative hubs, informal and inspiring design, and completely blurring the line between “home” and “work.” Our new multispace for RB fully reflects these trends.
FunkyRed Bull has its own distinctive culture, creating a lifestyle for a wide range of similarly sporty and positively inclined people, of which we are of course a part! We love this sporty lifestyle, so it was logical to use artifacts and designs that belong to it. Our colleagues at RB think the same way; together, we searched for the right "pieces" to fine-tune the creative funky atmosphere and comfort. We created a creative HUB together, boosted from the basement to the roof with energy and ideas.
IndustrialRed Bull is located in a original functionalist villa in Baba and occupies every square centimeter of the interior. Therefore, we needed all the space. So we demolished. Right down to the bone, to the concrete, to the brick. We were searching for space. This search naturally evolved into the design concept of an industrial interior. To show the original, quality, to reveal the structure, to acknowledge raw surfaces and, in conjunction with modern interior design, create a strong design mix.
We designed the interior for all generations and of course, most of all for the youngest, the millennial generation. So it’s a lot about comfort while working, about sharing over coffee, and of course with a can of RB energy drink. It’s about a huge community of people sharing a similar passion and lifestyle, who create it. It’s about friendship.
