Forum Karlín, 3 – 4 floors of an office building designed by Ricardo Bofill

Socialbakers Offices, a young expanding company focused on social media statistics and analysis, for approximately 300 employees

The design contrasts with the corporate environment of the building - right from the laminate entrance, it is clear that these are slightly different offices. The solution is the result of a desire for a nonconformist environment and carefully considered investments from the target budget. Two floors connected by a new opening with a staircase offer about 300 workspaces with facilities for the international team of Socialbakers. Instead of double floors and suspended ceilings, there is ground concrete and exposed installations. An internal "street" with ambient lighting connects the various departments around the perimeter. Their delineation is indicated by meeting room cubicles, colored according to the respective social networks. A natural center is the café on a stage behind the reception. The design subtly incorporates the theme of communication, personified both by shipping containers, raw authentic artifacts from the world's oceans, host kitchens, servers, and relaxation spaces. And also in the author's conceptual works of Petra Skořepová. The peripheral concrete walls are confirmed by a yellow roller. The furniture and equipment is a combination of a marketplace selection of chairs, Persian rugs, and custom furniture by D3A made from colorful steel profiles and crates.
The design was created with the trust and active collaboration of Jan Řežáb and members of the SB team. During an unobserved visit - when a young man on a longboard silently passes you, and a young lady works intently on her laptop nestled in a fatboy inside a cage made of mesh on a container - you have the pleasant feeling that the new environment has been quickly and successfully adopted.
