Lunter opens its first bistro in Bratislava
The gastronomic company Lunter, known for its family story and honest production, is expanding its reach from Banská Bystrica to the emerging Bratislava "downtown." The establishment is located in the last of the buildings in the Twin City – Tower, facing the new pedestrian zone between administrative complexes.
Openness and honesty are the primary slogans that characterize the Lunter brand and were the foundational principles during the design phase of the project.

Openness
The bistro is accessible from the interior of the entrance hall, but it is also visible through the exterior glazing. The interior space is defined by a compact wooden screen that hides only the necessary back-of-house operations such as a storage refrigerator, a small storage room, and a small preparation area. It also incorporates areas for products. An open salad bar and a transparent food preparation area with a service counter are located along the axis of the entrance. The visitor and service zone is visually divided only by a lowered transparent shelf above the counter, which does not detract from the smaller retail space. The area covered in stainless steel expresses the cleanliness of the gastronomic product preparation process. The concept of openness is also reflected in the ceiling layer without a false ceiling.

Honesty
The materials used support the Lunter company's idea of credibility and truthfulness. The long wooden wall is composed of oak solid wood planks, into which grooves are carved, providing the interior with a specific detail, plasticity, and a tactile experience. The same detail is used in the other furnishings. The service counter is also complemented by green staining, which identifies the establishment and its new branding. At the entrance, there is a green wall of edible herbs that visitors can use in their purchased food. The poured concrete floor and exposed ceiling with technology represent the basic horizontal layers where the story of the bistro unfolds.

The operation of the Lunter bistro aims to bring a piece of family, traditional, or even rural environment to the emerging new city center with a dynamic lifestyle. This fusion demonstrates that it is possible.
