Rental house of architect František Strnad
Architect: Kamil Roškot
Coauthor: Ladislav Machoň
Address: Čechova 29, Bubeneč, Prague, Czech Republic
Completion:1923-24, 1936

The lapidary, plastically articulated façade of the residential building in the gap, topped with a roof level of raw bricks, markedly differs from the buildings of the then-dominant "national style." The original two-story apartment on the ground and first floors was remodeled in the 1930s by Ladislav Machoň, who broke through the large shop window facing the street. A sculpture by Otto Gutfreund is located in the passage. The architect Josef Gočár lived in the building until 1938.
