Both in the past and today, it remains a popular house shape. White is the dominant color for cubes among clients.

The family house in Frýdek-Místek is a simple yet thought-out structure. It is well thought-out in terms of what it includes, while its footprint is not too large.

The composition of the house deserves to be highlighted. It is two stories, and although the architects have "packed" enough into it – with 5 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 walk-in closets, a pantry, and a technical room – it does not feel like a "bundle." This is also due to the pleasant connection with the garage. From the street view, the covered larch entrance stands out, combined with a covered parking space for a car. One can easily walk with groceries from the car to the house without getting wet. The wooden cladding softens the white color, and the shape of the roofing completes the house's imagined pedestal.

From the back of the house, smaller cubes enter the garden (a protruding dining room, a terrace…clad garage), appearing as a visually pleasant and settled construction. The complexity of the house then offers nice nooks. One nook has become a terrace that is sheltered from the wind, or perhaps the desire to have a sheltered terrace has shaped the house's form? That’s also possible... The terrace does not end merely with a seating area but extends around the corner, creating another pleasant space for use and additionally complementing the house's footprint for coherence.

The arrangement of the desired rooms and facilities was truly sensitive, as the house does not feel overcrowded even from the inside.

We would like to emphasize the spacious dining room. The kitchen with the dining area has its necessary space, and even though it is connected to the living room, it is not one room. The clients preferred more space in the kitchen, so the living room is not unnecessarily large. A cozy seating corner is found in the kitchen's bay window.
