Swimming pool Borská pole

The building responds to the urban context at the transition between the block urban development and the loose complex of the University of West Bohemia. The house is a solo structure, a cluster of white crystals merging into the surrounding greenery. Each crystal is sized according to its function. They are all connected by a transparent ground floor, through which the house opens up to the public space and the recreational garden that surrounds it. The house is intentionally not monumental; it aims to be a civil spa building, an elegant and functional environment for sports and active relaxation.
