The clients' brief was a bungalow in an unconventional design. They wanted a house that would be enjoyable and offer them luxurious living in a fresh guise.
The flat plot for construction is located on the eastern edge of the village on a spacious lot, and beyond its eastern boundary, uninterrupted views open up across a vast meadow into the hilly wooded landscape.
Surrounding plots are also larger in area, which makes the built-up area feel airy. The access road conveniently lines the northern boundary of the lot, allowing the house itself to receive sunlight throughout the day and work seamlessly with it. Local regulations dictate the buildability of the plot and the necessity of using sloped roofs.

The house itself is composed of a composition of three functional volumes. The main volume serves as the central meeting area, presented at the northern boundary with an entrance featuring a public bathroom and technical background, further continuing south with a kitchen that leads to a dining room and living room. The main daytime zone offers warm illumination from both the west and east through large-format frameless windows. This is also the only part of the house containing a second floor. There is an open workspace created from a gallery with access to a roof garden. The central mass divides the plot into two parts. The eastern part contains a terrace with a large dining table and views over the landscape. Here, the family has breakfast and lunch. The western part features a pool and a relaxation terrace with sofas and chairs where the family gathers in the evening.
Attached to the main mass of the house is the eastern block – containing the parents' bedroom and garage, and the western block – containing the children's rooms.

The sloped roof on the central part transitions into a roof garden that descends down to the plot. At the lower part, there is a storage area under the roof that continues into a basement space.
The facades feature a combination of plaster and rendering.
