Family house in Nové Město nad Metují

The plot is located in a wooded valley at the edge of the village. The house is situated in the northeastern part of the plot. The valuable southwestern part of the garden remains undeveloped and is used for outdoor social activities. The garage is separated from the house and remains along the road at the southwestern boundary of the plot.
The house is single-story and allows direct contact of all rooms with the garden and a view of the surrounding forest. This is further supported by a large number of generous openings and the connection of rooms with wooden terraces.
The mass of the house is low, covered with a flat roof. The facade is plastered in white, partially clad with larch boards. The window frames are aluminum in a dark anthracite color. The terraces are made of larch boards. The eaves sidewalk and access path are paved with concrete tiles. The body of the outdoor fireplace is partially clad with black metal.
