Project:2011-12
Completion:2015

The assignment was the design of the interior of the living room for an already designed bungalow. However, the project was so bad that a properly placed sofa wouldn't have helped anyway. At the next meeting, I didn't present the interior design, but rather the design of the entire house. After 3 hours, the old project was thrown in the trash, and a new one started to be designed.

At the end of Pardubice. In an environment without context. On an open meadow, where the boundary of the land is still just an imaginary line. Here it is difficult to react to anything. Therefore, the house opens up to itself, creating a semi-private space in the form of an open atrium.
The object is very simple. It is based on the idea that the client will do everything himself. Both the layout and the structural aspects are adapted to this intention. The house consists of 2 separate masses. Divided into a daytime and nighttime part. They are connected by a glass neck, which is also the main communication point.
