The greenhouse is located on a spacious plot of a family house, slightly sloping, surrounded by meadows and forests. The very terrain influences the shape of the new building; a solid retaining wall was created, forming a flat area for placing the greenhouse, which is actually set into the ground from the perspective of the house's terrace, thus not creating a visual barrier and preserving the greatest benefit of the house - the view of the Želivka River valley.
It was designed to meet aesthetic and especially functional requirements. It is oriented to the south, with ventilation provided by roof windows with pistons. On the stone-clad retaining wall, a steel structure is attached, painted in light green, inspired by the English glasshouse. The base of the greenhouse is also concrete with a stone cladding; the foundations are only under the perimeter walls, while the floor and beds are on the terrain.
The floor plan of the greenhouse is very traditional. Two rows of beds made of wooden planks and a stone path in the middle.
In front of and next to the greenhouse, a seating area has been created with a view of the landscape. An essential part of the greenhouse is a work surface with a sink and water source located immediately behind the entrance to the greenhouse.
