Rooftop extension Falkestrasse

The law firm in the historic district of Vienna needed to expand its space by constructing an attic extension. The project illustrates visualized lines that extend from the street below, spanning the attic space and breaking open the existing roof. The concept of "deconstruction" is made visible here in the most literal sense. Open glazed areas and closed, "stacked" parts of the facade direct the access of light into the spaces of this two-story attic extension.
