The exhibition took place in the Gothic churches of the Convent of St. Agnes, founded by the Přemyslids, the descendants of the saint Prince Václav.
The exhibition was conceived as an intimate showcase of the most precious treasures from the two main St. Wenceslas treasures - the Saint Vitus Cathedral and the Old Boleslav Chapter.
The addition of these main thematic elements was entrusted to the careful selection of sculptures, paintings, books, and graphics with St. Wenceslas themes from all over Bohemia.
The architectural concept conformed to the sacred atmosphere of the ancient churches, which, with their spot lighting, represented another exhibit of the exhibition.
In the chancel space of the church, a monumental altar made of glass panels was created on three levels, where the St. Wenceslas relics, led by the helmet, sword, and remains of St. Václav, found their temporary location, accompanied by the uniquely displayed Palladium of the Czech Land in Prague.
This altar architecture was complemented in the nave and other sanctuaries with smaller showcases for preciosities, books, and graphics, and simple stands for the installation of sculptures and paintings.
The minimal artistic means of ascetic materialization emphasized the mystical significance of the unique exhibits, displayed so uniquely and in such a selection.

The exhibition took place: December 18, 2008 – March 22, 2009
