Outdoor playrooms

Outdoor playrooms
The cube/prism is designed as an airy, covered space, allowing children to spend time in the school's garden, under a roof - a covered outdoor play area.
Children and educators thus have the opportunity to start perceiving outdoor education as a regular part of learning and discover through their own experience the benefits it brings – not only for children but also for them.
Work and polytechnic activities are integrated into the everyday life of kindergartens and primary schools, included in the educational offerings of school educational programs. These classrooms are created with the support of the City Hall of Prague.
Working with tools, aids, equipment, construction and manipulation activities, simple tasks, assembly and disassembly, shape combinations - all of this develops children's manual skills, fine motor skills, technical imagination, and creativity.
The main supporting structure consists of wooden beams. A vertical wooden grid made of battens is anchored to these supporting beams - the perimeter shell. The roof and floor are supported by wooden planks (0.5m each), reinforced by braces. Safety glass is laid on the roof into glazing strips, and water is directed by a gutter into the garden.
