Villa in Bílovice

The building plot is on the edge of the valley slope. The long building encloses the space of the plot from the northwest. The living rooms have windows facing southeast. (View of the garden and the valley.)
Ground floor: covered entrance, hall, maid's room, laundry and drying room, pantry and garage. A small gallery with skylights (the builder is a collector of paintings).
Living floor: the kitchen is connected by a sideboard accessible from both sides to the living room. In the living room, the front part serves as a dining area — the floor is raised in the back. Large cushions on it serve as ottomans. The raised floor has horizontal doors, allowing storage underneath for anything that creates clutter in an ordinary apartment. The shorter wall is equipped with built-in cabinets, and the alcove serves as a library. The cabinets and double floor provide insulation.
On the upper floor, there are 4 small bedrooms (also serving as dressing rooms and studies) for the lady, gentleman, two children, and a guest, along with space for travel luggage and a bathroom with a sunbathing terrace. The bedrooms are equipped with ottomans — beds, built-in cabinets, a writing (vanity) table with drawers and shelves above it. The windows have lighting and ventilation sections.
In the basement, there is central heating and fuel storage. The gallery is placed so that the building, even without it, forms a whole and can be added later and extended. It features movable walls for paintings.
The garden is a lawn, enclosed by several larch trees.
