Villa in the Forest

The plot is located in the forest in the area of Modra - Harmónia, near the water reservoir. Originally, there was a recreational cottage on the plot, from which only the basement with stairs has been preserved. The investor's intention was to maintain the existing floor and add to it for the purpose of constructing a family house. We tried to open the house as much as possible towards the lake (the southern side) with maximum utilization of views into the valley, which we supported with exterior terraces on both floors. The ground floor serves for representative-social purposes and for the actual living of a young family, while the basement contains technical rooms with a guest room and an area for relaxation (sauna, home theater, games room). All rooms are maximally connected to the exterior, with access to the terrain possible from every room.
