Zdeněk Fránek : Outside CZ - výstava v GJF

In the summer months, it is possible to see two exhibitions by architect Zdeněk Fránek. The first one at the Prague Galerie Jaroslava Fragnera showcases the works of architect Zdeněk Fránek, designed and built abroad. It is therefore titled OUTSIDE CZ. On large banners and physical models, the author presents his buildings from China, Croatia, Congo, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Poland, and other countries.
Galerie Jaroslava Fragnera, which had been operating quietly in the exhibition (presentation) of primarily sociopolitical themes for a long time, is once again displaying original works. In this case, it is Zdeněk Fránek, who is realizing his third solo exhibition in this space during his nearly forty-year career.
The African projects present objects for Rescue Stations for primates - gorillas, chimpanzees, and lemurs. These include training centers and restaurants in Congo as well as training centers and accommodation for children in Cameroon. In Cape Verde, Zdeněk Fránek worked on the renovation of the Presidential House and the construction of museums representing ten Cape Verde islands. These projects are being prepared for realization. In Cape Verde, Zdeněk Fránek's studio is working on the use and reconstruction of historical lighthouses as a part of world cultural heritage.
Another section of the exhibition showcases a newly realized tower in the Polish spa of Swieradow Zdrój.
The third section presents a museum of modern art in Beijing, China. This building, which is being prepared for heritage protection, represents a cosmological principle or perhaps even an ontological approach in the author's thinking.
The fourth section is a showcase of Croatian recreational and residential buildings using local materials – Brač limestone and inspired by the language of antique historical centers of Croatian cities.
