Biography
Ing.arch. akad.arch. Jan Vrana studied at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at ČVUT in Prague under Professor František Cubr and continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under him. He worked at the Project Institute for the Construction of the Capital City of Prague under Karel Filsak, and since 1991 he has been leading the architectural studio HÉTA, of which he is a co-owner. Jan Vrana became a member of the Czech Chamber of Architects in 1993, when he also began actively working in its bodies. In 2007, he was elected 1st Vice-Chairman of the CKA. In 2010, he was elected Chairman of the Board of the CKA.
