Biography
1984 - obtained a bachelor's degree in architecture from the Technical University of Lisbon. As part of the IAESTE exchange program, he completed an internship at the Faculty of Architecture in Krakow, Poland.
1985-86 - worked in Switzerland and Italy with architect Jean Gerard Giorla and architect Anna Maria Linty.
1987 - founded his own studio in Lisbon
from 1993 - collaborates with Portuguese architects Álvaro Siza and Gonçalo Byrne
from 2004 - visiting professor at the Technical University of Lisbon
2010-15 - visiting professor at the University of Navarra in Pamplona
