Biography
Architect and university lecturer – head of the conservation and renovation studio at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague (until 2010), since 2008 associate professor at the Department of Architecture and Construction at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. Co-founder of the Center for the Protection and Restoration of Architecture – CORA, o.s., co-founder and from 1996 to 2001 chairman of the board of the Institute of Restoration and Conservation Techniques in Litomyšl, o.p.s. (now Faculty of Restoration UP). Member of the expert team of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the City of Prague since 2011. Independent projects and realizations include, for example, the restoration of the Gothic Chapel of the Body of Christ in Kutná Hora, the reconstruction and extensions of the Restoration School in Litomyšl, the Josef Váchal Museum in Litomyšl, the reconstruction and interiors of the Regional State Prosecutor's Office on Husova Street in Prague, and others.
