Biography
Sergei Enverovich Choban is a Russian architect with over twenty years of experience in Germany. After studying architecture in Leningrad, he worked in the Russian Federation from 1986 to 1990. In 1992, he moved to Germany, where he established his own practice and obtained citizenship. In 1995, he co-founded the Berlin branch of the Hamburg office nps & Partner (*1931) called 'nps tchoban voss', which operates to this day. Since 2003, he has been actively working in Russia, and in 2006, he co-founded the architectural office SpeeCH in Moscow with Sergei Kuznetsov. In 2010, he was a co-author of the Russian pavilion exhibition at the
XII. International Architecture Biennale in Venice. Together with
Peter P. Schweger, he is the author of the tallest building in Europe, which is the 'Federation' complex in Moscow's MIBC.
