Biography
1959-64 - studied architecture at ETH Zurich, where she graduated under Werner M. Moser. Subsequently, she gained work experience from 1963-70 with Ernst Gisela (Zurich), in Paris, London, and New York (Mitchell/Giurgola Architects)
1972 - opened her own office in Basel
1979-82 - was an assistant professor to Dolf Schnebli at ETH Zurich
1983-85 - served as a visiting lecturer at ETH Zurich
since 1984 - a member of BSA (Association of Swiss Architects) and SIA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects)
1995-2001 - collaborated with architect Livio Vacchini
2005-18 - collaborated with her son Reto Gmür
2011 - received the Prix Meret Oppenheim
