BiographyZdeněk Patrman was a Czech structural engineer. He studied at the Liberec Gymnasium and the Czech Technical University in Prague. From 1953 he worked at the Regional Design Institute in Liberec and then at Stavoprojekt in Liberec. In 1960, he had to leave there and became an employee of Pozemní stavby Liberec. However, in 1964, architect Karel Hubáček requested him back so they could work together on the construction of a hotel with a television transmitter on the summit of Ještěd. In addition to the Ještěd project, he was also involved in the construction of the transmitter on Križava in Slovakia, the Máj department store in Prague, the reconstruction of the Prague Exhibition Hall, the ski jumps and judges' tower on Ještěd, and the construction of the residence of the Czech Embassy in Budapest, Hungary.
