The company Era is a manufacturer of passive radar equipment in both civilian and military sectors. For some time now, the company has planned to construct a new administrative building to meet its needs, which would be part of the company's production complex.
We placed the new building on the southern boundary of the property, in close proximity to mature trees. The design has a human scale, with a height of four above-ground floors and a varied floor plan that divides the building into smaller volumes and offers interesting views and nooks. The interior space of the building is designed to be very clear, featuring a single central stairwell illuminated by skylights, ensuring that employees can move around the building as easily as possible. From the hall, short corridors branch out to individual departments containing workplaces and meeting rooms. All of them are oriented towards views of greenery or the complex, most of them allowing for natural ventilation. The basic modular unit is a closed office for two employees. This work unit is the fundamental module of the building and is clearly reflected on the facade.
The roof of the building is a technological crown equipped for the internal environment of the building, but primarily with spaces for testing equipment developed by the company. The highest point of the structure is a highly rigid mast with a lift specifically for the tested products.
