The area of the original river baths Riviera has been reconstructed into an educational center focused on traffic education. The natural character of the river floodplain has been preserved and enhanced with elements for leisure use and relaxation. The connection with the bike path on the opposite bank of the river is provided by the original footbridge with a restored surface.
The classicist building of the former baths "Zámeček" has been cleaned of later inappropriate modifications and serves for the theoretical part of traffic education and administrative support.
A partially covered traffic playground serves for the practical part of the teaching. The subtle wooden structure of the roof made of nailed trusses is supported by concrete columns in a 6 x 12 meter module. The space is illuminated by gray strip skylights at the level of the roof and walls facing the river. This achieves optical segmentation of the otherwise large building with a footprint of 60 x 38 meters. Towards the river, the solid parts of the walls are clad with larch boards, and towards the millrace with cement-bonded fiberboards. The season for outdoor traffic education can be extended by enclosing the interior space with retractable walls made of translucent tarpaulin. The facilities of the playground are located in the reconstructed former service building. An external traffic playground and the revitalization of the park landscaping of the riverbank and the entire surrounding area of the complex follow.
