The layout of the facilities in the project area complements the grand landscape of Lake Most and its scale. The campground is situated between the Water Sports Center with its restaurant and the existing beach, placing it at a similar distance from both recreational destinations. A new connection is created between the Restaurant and the Beach, visually linked and a within a reasonable walking distance along the promenade. This enhances the promenade’s significance and appeal. Thanks to an elevation of about 20 meters and the relative proximity to the water, all campsite users have the water “right at their fingertips.” The main goal is to maximize the potential of the lake and its surroundings so that the campsite, water sports center, and restaurant possess a distinctive and original character closely linked to the lake’s landscape.
The campsite buildings and the restaurant are based on a consistent design language and material palette. The exception is the water sports facility, which, due to its location, features a base partially embedded in the ground, atop which the restaurant is situated. The architecture of the buildings is based on a fundamental and straightforward structural framework of wall–ring beam–beam–roof, with each of these basic elements reflected in the chosen materials.
The aim of the proposed landscaping measures is to guide the succession process in areas subject to operational stress, enhance the ecological and aesthetic value of the site, and at the same time meet the operational requirements of the recreational complex. Only those parts of the area that will be used directly for accommodation will be landscaped. For the purpose of planting groups of trees, growing conditions will be improved only locally, through partial soil replacement in smaller areas, but not for individual trees. It is advisable to preserve existing vegetation, particularly tree vegetation, to the greatest extent possible.
The existing road network is retained. The III/2565 ring road retains its role as a main collector road. Both connections to this road (access to the water sports center and access to the south beach) are also retained. Both locations—the water sports complex and the campground—are served separately by traffic, each via different access roads. Especially during major sporting events, it is an advantage that heavy peak traffic will not negatively impact the campground itself. The proposed parking lot has a total capacity of 323 spaces, including electric charging stations.
