Boutique Max Mara

Two years after the opening of the Idolo boutique, the Brno studio RAW realized another interesting store in the center of Brno, this time for the fashion giant - Max Mara. While Idolo gives off a cozy, room-like impression, Max Mara is a cool beauty. However, it impacts your senses more strongly; the merchandise sold is the priority in this boutique.
The architects' work primarily involved designing the boutique's portal. This theme is almost sacred in the history of Brno architecture; numerous famous interwar architects designed commercial portals for both renowned and unknown merchants, and only a tiny fraction of them can still be admired in the streets of Brno.
The generous piano nobile is the best artifact that leaves an unforgettable impression on passersby or shoppers after the first encounter. As theorists say: "I haven't seen such a slab in a long time," and the dimensions of the portal's glass are indeed majestic. We have already gotten used to the quality details from the RAW workshop. I have yet to cross the proportionally stunning entrance with two designed steps…
The display window itself approaches the theatrical portal even more, a place of frequent interest for architect Rusín. The asymmetrical minimalist installations in the window disrupt long price tags, but from a distance, the impression is excellent. Max Mara has a great boutique in Brno that has raised the bar a few centimeters higher.
