Apartment building Modřínka

The design relates to the old building stock of Slovan through its scale and structure. For example, the vertical circulation is placed in the courtyard. The main facade is oriented to the south, and its expression is influenced by passive shading - loggias and sunshades. Otherwise, the building is meant to appear ordinary and simple, precisely the opposite of what the modern polystyrene-painted facades of the surrounding residential buildings strive for.
