The inner walls made of 1,260 pieces of bottle crates were also meant to serve as presentation walls for the city office. "GALERY IN THE MAZE" was to be created, enticing passersby into the heart of the maze, into the heart of the town hall…

Even the approval of the maze idea in front of the entrance was met by a proper official with reasons why it couldn't be done. For example, the impossibility of photographing weddings in front of the town hall. In the end, we received approval for 14 days. The durability was only 4 days, then an anonymous complaint came to the Fire and Rescue Service…
The maze had to be moved away from the building urgently, which lost its original meaning… Nonetheless, a request was made for the appropriation of new city land, which was not granted, and the maze had to be removed…
Nevertheless, the maze fulfilled its purpose, highlighting the number of senseless restrictions that we, as a society, have allowed to be enacted without resistance.

Safety and demolition triumph over creativity and building. History tells us that these are signs of the beginning of decadence, the onset of the decline of advanced civilizations… the Czech official has triumphed once again.
