The house is located at the highest point of the ridge of Vinice hill on the edge of Vysoké Mýto. As the name suggests, the terraces on the slopes were used for grape cultivation. The striking horizontal shape of the house across the entire width of the plot relates to the terraced layout of the terrain. The large corner windows lighten the mass of the house and simultaneously provide important views of the surrounding landscape. However, the most beautiful views are offered by the roof, covered with a dense grass carpet bordered by a stone parapet. The greenery in part transitions to the facade, where a vertical evergreen facade is installed. The design of the vertical facade and the green roof was inspired by the profession of the client - a professional gardener.
The internal arrangement of the house is based on a simple concept of a main living room with a kitchen oriented to the south with a view of Vysoké Mýto. Child bedrooms and a shared bathroom are attached to the main living room on the northern side. To the west, access to the bedroom with an ensuite bathroom is available through a hallway-office. At the entrance to the house from the northern side, there is a technical room and a restroom for visitors.
