Interior of a private office and waiting room of a children's doctor

We were invited to the process of establishing a new clinic at the moment of the ongoing reconstruction of the entire wing of the Polyclinic in Vysočany, where the children's doctor's office was to be relocated. We proposed not to divide the office into two rooms with a partition and instead to create a preparation area for a kitchen instead of sinks. We had a light beige rubber flooring laid instead of the usual patterned PVC.
The office is designed as one continuous space, with furniture and equipment arranged around its perimeter according to their functions. We designed the furniture in light pastel colors to be as simple as possible with maximum storage space so that there would be enough free space in the office and waiting room. To make the young patients feel good, there are play corners and pictures on the walls in both the waiting room and the office. The waiting room is wallpapered with wallpaper featuring frames intended for coloring. The play object (a carved cascade with balls) and pictures in the waiting room were created by a sculptor specifically for this location.

At the entrance from the waiting room, the nurse has a reception area with a filing cabinet, a workstation, a dresser with a changing table, and a gray-green kitchen box with a sink, refrigerator, and waste containers. Next to the kitchen is a play corner with a Lego wall, Lego boxes for small toys, and above that, a backlit optotype.
The doctor sits opposite the nurse, behind him is an adjustable examination bed with measurement equipment and a two-meter pink dresser which carries a changing table made of dark blue wipeable fabric and a baby scale. The nurse's and doctor's work tables have oak worktops, and the table base consists of white drawer boxes and small white bookshelves for toys and books. In front of the tables are two chairs for parents and patients.
A large wall opposite the door is covered with a world map. The space is further enlivened by a number of flower pots with flowers on the filing cabinet. In the area, there is a rocking toy for children.
